Alarm Calls
Please contact Reception, by dialing ‘0’, who will arrange an alarm call for you.

Assistance (24-hr Reception)
Reception is staffed throughout the day. From 11pm to 7am the Night Porter will cover Reception to deal with any enquiries.

Bars
Our bar provides a wide range of soft and alcoholic beverages, including local ales, freshly made cocktails and international wines and spirits.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the Restaurant (or in the Bar area if pet-friendly is required) Monday – Friday 7am to 9.30am; Saturday – Sunday 8am to 10.30am.

Car Parking
Our Hotel Car Park is located towards the rear of the hotel building with the entrance via Chequers Lane. We have limited car parking spaces at the hotel that are available on a first come first served basis only. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer long-stay parking after departure. There is a Pay & Display car park (Chequers Lane Car Park) adjacent to the hotel car park with EV charging points.

Checkout
Our standard check-out time is 11am. We have limited availability for a late check-out until 1pm that can be booked in advance for an additional cost.

Church Services
Please contact Reception who will advise you on services and locations for religious worship.

Cinema
Please contact Reception who will advise you on your nearest cinema location.

Conference Facilities
We have two function rooms available for hire at the hotel. Should you require further information for hosting an event with us, please contact us on shgevents@innmail.co.uk.

Currency Conversion
Please contact reception for your nearest Currency Bureau.

Dietary Requirements
If you have any special requirements please contact the manager on duty who will be happy to assist.

Directions
If you require directions our Reception team are happy to provide printed route maps and navigation on request.

Disabled Facilities
Please discuss directly with the hotel by calling, or emailing.

Doctor, Dentist and Chemist
Should you require medical assistance, please inform Reception who will contact someone on your behalf. Please contact Reception if you need to know the location of nearest medical facility.

Emergency Services
Dial ‘999’ for the police, fire brigade or an ambulance. Please also call Reception on ‘0’ to report the incident and for further assistance.

Fire Procedures
For your comfort and safety, we ask all guests to familiarise themselves with the fire evacuation procedure and fire exits. Please read the fire notice on the back of the bedroom door.

Flowers
If you wish to send flowers or have them delivered to your room, we would be happy to arrange this for you with a local florist. Please contact Reception by dialling ‘0’ with your requirements and they will do their best to accommodate you.

Heating and Cooling
The heating in the room may be adjusted using the thermostat dial on the side of the radiator during the winter months. A limited number of fans are also available – please speak to Reception to check availability.

Key Cards
For your personal security, we insist that guests produce key cards when signing accounts in any of the Hotel’s facilities.

Luggage Assistance
Please ask Reception for help with luggage or luggage storage at any time, 24 hours a day. Luggage may be stored in the hotel, without charge, for up to six hours after vacating your room.

Maintenance
Should you find anything not in working order, please report it to Reception and we will endeavour to repair it as quickly
as possible.

Newspaper
Please order with Reception by 10pm for delivery to your room the next morning.

Night Porter
We have a Night Porter on duty from 11pm until 7am daily.

No Smoking
Please be aware that the hotel, including all bedrooms, are non-smoking. The courtyard has designated areas for smoking. If guests are found to have smoked inside bedrooms, a will be made to cover further cleaning and freshening of the room. Each room is fitted with a smoke detector. Activation will incur further charges to the guest’s account.

Pets
We have a limited number of pet-friendly bedrooms that are bookable in advance for an additional pet-charge of £15 per night for up to 2 dogs. Our Bar area and outside dining area are pet-friendly.

Postage
Postage to most destinations can be arranged via Reception. All post is sent daily.

Restaurant
Our Restaurant is open daily Monday – Friday 12pm – 3pm and  6pm-9pm, Saturday – Sunday 12pm to 9pm.

Security
Please ensure that your bedroom windows and doors are closed when you leave the room. We would like to draw your attention to the Hotel Proprietors Act displayed in the Reception area and regret to inform you that the hotel cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage to any guest’s property not handed in for safekeeping.

Television
To turn on the TV, press the TV and then the power button first and then the sky button. Find out more about our televisions and channels in the Television section of this directory.

Toiletries
A limited supply of complimentary common items are available from Reception 24 hours a day (i.e. toothpaste, comb, shaving foam, razor, etc)

Voltage
The UK uses a 240v supply with three pin plugs. Please ask Reception if you require an adapter. This usually requires a £5 deposit which is refunded when the adaptor is returned.
